A HUGE thank you to the Kiwanis Miracle League players, families, coaches and board members for hosting the Iowa International Center for an inspiring and fun game last night, and for inviting our guests to join in the fun on the field with the players! The group of international visitors joining in the fun are all leaders in serving children with special needs in their home countries of Yemen, Iraq, United Arab Emirates, Jordan and Egypt. They were invited to Des Moines as part of our International Visitor Leadership Program, so they could meet with local teachers, administrators and families to learn and share best practices, experiences and build global relationships.
