A Iraqi writes, Do me a favour. Dont see the last Gulf War as an isolated foreign policy decision. You miss the point and the extent of the catastrophe of Iraq. This was an inevitable outcome after Iraqi oil was nationalised decades ago. And the removal of the British by the Iraqi resistance. This has been a long term strategy to ensure private companies maintain access. Iraq has been under continuous bombs since 1979. Saddam was a miscalculation. After 1991, the bombing never stopped. This last war was just another chapter. The sanctions killed millions. I am touched people care but I am a fan of learning ones history. Never forget that brown lives are worth it if the goal is security, wealth and resources. We are worthless to them. What matters is we are quiet or managed. And by managed, I refer to the hundreds of thousands of men and women tortured and executed under Saddam. Go into Iraqs recent history and be disgusted with your governments in the West, Russia and Middle East.
