A LEARNING MOMENT FOR ME AND MY SON..... My 13 year old son told me today that a friend of his said My mom doesnt like your mom. My son asked Why, my mom and your mom have never met before. His answer was The mayor told my mom not to like her. I will say it was a moment for me to take pause....is my speaking out against the mayor not good for my family? Is it worth it? And then I thought to tell my boy its SO important to stand up for what you believe in, and always be loyal about defending your family..... and also, never let someone talk you into not liking someone youve never met, make your own judgments about people. My boy said Well of course I like you mom, and Papa was a great mayor no matter what this mayor says. And thats all that matters....
