A LEGACY WORTH LEAVING BEHIND-What Kind Of Soil Do You Have? Matthew 13:3-8 A farmer went out to sow his seed. As he was scattering the seed, some fell along the path, and the birds came and ate it up. Some fell on rocky places, where it did not have much soil. It sprang up quickly, because the soil was shallow. But when the sun came up, the plants were scorched, and they withered because they had no root. Other seed feel among thorns, which grew up and choked the plants. Still other seeds fell on good soil, where it produced a crop - a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Today our Father wants us to examine where we have been planted. Are we planted along the path, on rocky places, among thorns, or on good soil? Where we have been planted matters to God. Where we have been planted is the legacy we will leave behind. Without a doubt, our Father wants us all to be planted on good soil. Good soil where we can produce a crop - hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. All our Father asks of us is this: Matthew 13:23 But the seed falling on good soil refers to SOMEONE WHO HEARS THE WORD AND UNDERSTANDS IT. This is the one who produces a crop, yielding a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. Our loving God is warning us right now, if we continue to allow ourselves to be planted in anything other than good soil, we will not fulfil the God given legacy He has planned. God has given to us the secret to success. The secret to producing crops that will yield a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown. A PERSON WITH GOOD SOIL REFERS TO SOMEONE WHO HEARS THE WORD AND UNDERSTANDS IT. If we are not planted on good soil, what is stopping us from desiring to be uprooted so we can yield the harvest God has in store? No one can yield a hundred, sixty or thirty times what was sown, if they were not first planted on good soil. Good soil equals hearing and understanding the Word of God. Good soil equals a strong and firm foundation with our relationship with God. Today, where are we sowing our seeds? I pray we would be planted in good soil...
