A LITTLE BIT OF HISTORY I CANT WAIT .. MEMORIES OF N JOI - PLEASE READ AND WATCH THE AMAZING VIDEO It was 1990 and i was completely swept away by the dance eruption that had hit me . I was a spark at the time and was house bashing with my own lil business and van ( which i left at a rave in Blackburn ) and was doing ok - then came the revelation that changed my life and my career ... The Quadrant Park . I was no longer interested in my tools , climbing under floorboards or rewiring houses .. All i wanted to do was dance and be a dj. My brother Stuart Butler and i never missed 1 sat night at the quad and it was there i was blown away by the music and the scene - My business went bust and my van got left at a rave and as for my tools - Aint got a clue Nothing will ever beat them nights and the 1 stand out night for me was when N Joi played the Quad in 1990 live on stage .. I remember the lead singer crying afterwards the place really was that special . A gathering of ppl all blown away by this new sound. Stu n i travelled the county going to raves illegal parties and much more and once the Quad shut i was on my quest to become a dj ... So when i was putting my Charity event together the very 1st pa i wanted there was N Joi - Not only because its 1 of my fav ever tunes but because i will never ever forget that night in 1990 - I feel so lucky to have been part of the rave Scene when it kicked of and the Quad nights and then The State - the 051 etc etc So if you can get yourselves out next Sun night to Club 051 then you can see N Joi LIVE for the 1st time in the N West for a very very long time plus all the other amazing acts and djs .
