A LITTLE LUXURY EVERY DAY GOES A LONG WAY Its Mothers Day this Sunday and if youre racking your brains for ways to make those lovely ladies in your life feel extra special be sure to check out the Vault and Newsletter Archives on the Simple Savings website for some terrific and unique ideas. Too often we spend money on luxury items that dont get used very often, for example, a fancy outfit or an expensive bottle of wine that lasts an hour. I decided to spend that extra money on luxury items that I use all the time, so I feel spoiled every day. Pens, for example! Go out and buy the most wonderful pen you can find. It may cost $5.00 or even $20, but it will give you pleasure several times a day and you wont feel the need to treat yourself to more expensive, less frequently used luxury items. Before you spend money on something, think of how much it will cost you per hour that you use it. This is a great way to make purchasing decisions.
