A LOT OF WHAT WE DO is an elaborate exercise in spinning our wheels. Black Community development is impossible so long as the community is attached, and reacting to, the political and economic social theory and systems of a predominantly white power-structure. In such an environment all efforts at redeeming black communities will fall short. They will fail miserably, unless success for you is measured by how many black youth you can clean up, teach how to eat with a knife and fork, wear a suit and tie and fetch a postition in one of the political and or economic high places within this anti-black world. But lets be honest, most of those programs never reach, let alone touch, black youth embedded in crises realities. EVERY INSTITUTION in the community must be DELIBERATELY and UNAPOLOGETICALLY BLACK in its approach to community development - if not it should be purged because its not working within the full interest of BLACK community development. ALL URBAN AREAS are communities of CONCENTRATED POVERTY. Though many black people live in them, they are NOT BLACK COMMUNITIES. We did not create the conditions in them, neither did we choose the political, economic or social systems that control them. We have inherited the worn out shoes of white populations who have long since tossed them around the telephone wire, but still want to control how the shoes are worn. The plight of the black in America is one that will require action on a course, and in a direction not many have the testicular fortitude to traverse. The complete liberation and rebuilding of this people will require a COMPLETE SOCIO-ECONOMIC & POLITICAL DETACHMEMT from the current power-structure - a venture into the politically incorrect realm of ALL BLACK EVERYTHING with no white-strings attached. Otherwise - YOU - just bullshitting! #PrepareProtectPrevail
