A LOUD THINKING I have a gut feeling that you have done some homework on the coming Election to Loksabha 2014. Could you pls share with us? I’m not asking for any speculation of seats winning. Let me be frank with you all. In case, the Left Forces are not able to win enough number of seats, we will have very bad days ahead in all spheres. Whether it is NaMo & NDF; Mamata, Jaylalita Anna with bites, more than they can devour; the lousy gimmick of Kejriwal (AAP) or the old veteran INC with Rahul on head; none is capable enough to deliver. NaMo & NDF: The worst one can think of even in dreams. The man who couldn’t stay with & serve his wife will serve the country as a whole! The lower court in Gujarat may have absolved him of criminal charges, but we are all aware how the Police / Central Intelligence / Special Investigation, coupled with black coat Lawyers worth their salt and Judiciary in our pseudo democratic State function. Yes, there have been numerous ‘riots’ in pre & post independent era almost all over India. But can you site one example where the CM of a state feigned ignorance and shut himself out for good 3 days from the beginning and for that matter Women-folk taking part in loot & arson? AND now the leader of his party asks ‘forgive & forget’ after full 12 years. With his too many comments like ‘Bhagat Singh in Andaman’ and others, we are sure about his knowledge on Indian History – ancient, medieval, modern. Some historians, writers & self proclaimed religious leaders might have tried to portray different story in the name of religion, caste & creed. However, the fight of toiling masses ‘the teeming millions’ speaks on the record. ….. The less we speak about the other small/regional parties in NDF, its better. They are nothing but sycophants converging for a piece of the meat on a platter at the whims of the boss. Mamata: TMC to AITMC – good gracious. The one & only rule – ‘DIDI’. Cry hoarse ‘didi’, wear ‘didi’, eat & drink ‘didi’, teach & learn ‘didi’, think ‘didi’, sleep & dream ‘didi’. Bash! No ‘poblem’! Request, have another look at the symbol/emblem/pictogram; whatever you want to call. “GHASSFOOL” – the grass flower from grass roots. Name just one, named by ‘didi’, from grass root worker to contest in legislative / parliament election right from day one. If my memory does not betray me, Bikram Sarkar ex. Chairman of Kolkata Port Trust was one such (!) candidate in the first election contested with the logo. I will not lengthen with her assignments as Ministers of GOI or on alliances. It is, however, worthwhile to ponder over her actions in the functioning of Min of Railways. She has been saying from end of 2011 that 90% of job (was she referring to her election manifesto) done. Only the other day, in conference with news journalists, she made comparison with Gujarat (not a single word about flops by Modi Govt and so obvious difference between scoured reality and ‘vibrant Gujarat’ surfaced in social media). She said nothing worthy of consumption except the rhetoric of ’34 years….’ I invite you to the VDO on her inglorious rhetoric in the inglorious confabulation of Industrialists in Haldia, sometimes back. Reprimanding senior Police & Administrative officers in public, belittling the rape victims have become a go of the day. Just imagine a scene: Didi as PM (close to her heart) dragging the Cabinet Secretary or any of the Chief of Defense Services holding by the collar / arm by her side and asked to vouch for her of quoted ‘job done’! Jaylalita: She would have done better, had she restricted herself to her state. But alas! Once you are in politics, aspire goes sky rocketing. Would love to hear more from you. Anna: To my mind, he is not really the ‘gentleman’ he poses to be. His ‘fight against corruption’ from the very beginning is financed by the House/s and publicized by the ‘paid media’. People had gone berserk with the new Mahatma, as if ‘a Daniel has come to judgment’ and faced a nose dive faster than expected. Ah… ha! He is able (!) to find a leader (PM) in Mamata – the qualifications required (1) only she answered to his god forsaken demand and (2) she stay put in ‘Tolly’s House’ (let it be air-conditioned). My only question ‘Anna – are you not aware of the unhappy incidents of Rape & Murder in West Bengal and her preposterous comments on them’? Kejriwal (AAP): As an individual he found it best to delve into the games of politics, leaving his earlier profession. We in Bengal long back used to say amongst ourselves about this type of politicians: “I will do glowing for you. Rascals who you are to say ‘No’? So much - So less. INC with Rahul: Old habits die hard. No doubt, it is old veteran party. If one goes by the dogma ‘Man is a Born Criminal’, one does not find wrong in corruptions. Except that he / she feels the unlucky one not to have a bite, and that’s why feels aggrieved. Is it not a fact, that ‘corruption’ is enshrined in all the holy books – u name it? How many of you have not watched on TV or read Newspapers – the COG, although you were aware of the thorns in your ass. You get glued to TV watching Twenty-20, One day, knowing full well that those guys, players’ et al are just making money on your feverish cry of INDIA. Did you ever feel nauseated watching the IPL matches the money laundering and betting of the rich guys? Only plus point with INC, it is still secular in the true sense with weighty minus points on various score. Left Forces: Whatever be your profession, you cannot do away with the Leftists. Even in these days of globalization and utter consumerism, the scientific approach to agrarian & industrial success and exploiting economic resources; to achieve goal of social awareness, equitable distribution of wealth, and share of knowledge is unique in its own way. Of course, there are some black sheep, but we have to weed out them. West Bengal was once a bastion of Leftist ideology, not to mention Kerala & Tripura which are even now citadel of Left Force. It is no denying the fact, that even now in the selection process of candidates; it is overshadowed by majority upper castes. Join me in urging the leaders to initiate right path of approach, within the framework of the Constitution. I do feel it imperative to plead with you to join the frontal organization of Left parties – be it Student, Farmer, Trade Union, Educationists wherever you belong to. PLEASE DO REMEMBER ‘ELECTION’ IS ONLY A PATH TO ACHIEVE THE GOAL!!! [p.s. Should have mentioned in the beginning ‘Not for Saffron & Satota Brigade’. ]
