A Letter from God #126 I promised to restore and revive, and - TopicsExpress

A Letter from God #126 I promised to restore and revive, and yet there is a price - but it’s a joyous one. I want you to inquire of Me, to ask that I will do it. You don’t need to impress Me with your spirituality or motivate Me with your intensity. All I ask is that you come to Me and ask. Why does I say this? Because I want you to partner with Me in what I’m doing. Prayer is the one part you play in this restoration process. I told you to ask, seek, and knock. I declared that you have not simply because you ask not. I will rebuild. I will revive. I will freely give you all things. And all I ask of you is, will you pray? Be glad that I overrule your prayers at times, because you have prayed for things fervently, believing they were My will, and they were flat-out wrong. Be thankful that I said no to those prayers. Never be afraid to pray, Not my will, but Yours, be done. By saying that, you are simply saying, Lord, I dont know all the facts. I dont know everything there is to know. My knowledge is limited. My experience is limited. So if what I am praying is outside of Your will for any reason, please graciously overrule it. You wont always understand how you should pray. What it comes down to is telling Me that you want My will more than your own. I know this is hard at times. Sometimes you dont understand why I dont give you what you ask for. As time passes, you will look back with twenty-twenty hindsight, and you will be thankful that I chose to answer your prayers the way I did. I already know all your needs. Seek My kingdom above all else, and live righteously, and I will give you everything you need. You have an inborn hunger for Me. You cannot be satisfied with anything less than Me. I alone can supply the bread which satisfies the inner longing of your soul and the hunger of your heart. --God
