A Letter from God #86 If someone who is poor oppresses someone - TopicsExpress

A Letter from God #86 If someone who is poor oppresses someone else who is poor, like a hard rain, he’s a big drip, he’s all wet. Certainly the poor should have compassion upon the poor. You are poor in spirit. You realize the poverty, the inadequacy of your own life. Therefore, you should be compassionate and forgiving of the problems, mistakes, and weaknesses of others. You have no right to hold anything against anyone else because you’ve been forgiven so much. You oppress others, come down on others, heap condemnation on others, you’re like the poor oppressing the poor - and you’re all wet. You don’t like to talk about death; it’s the forbidden subject of your generation. Yet it’s real. Sometimes on television you see motion pictures featuring actors who are no longer living. They seem very much alive in the picture, but they are dead. Death is real, and when you die, that is a battle you have to fight all alone. Nobody can be with you in that hour, but David said he had found an answer that would take the fear of death away. David said that there is an answer to death, there is a hope beyond death. That hope is centered in Me. To be absent from the body is to be present with Me. So the fear of death is removed. People sometimes ask, What will we know in heaven? Will we recognize each other? That question always amazes me. As if youre going to forget everything—or be walking around in a fuzzy cloud of semi-awareness! You still will love, but your love will be perfected. You still will think and remember, but your thoughts will be perfected too. You certainly will know each other in heaven—and infinitely better than you knew each other on earth. Think of the purest, highest, most ecstatic joy on earth, multiply it a thousand times, and youll get a fleeting glimpse of heavens euphoria. In My presence is fullness of joy; at My right hand are pleasures forevermore. You will be aware in heaven—more aware than youve ever been before. You will know more there. You will love more there. Your love for family and friends will be a stronger, sweeter, purer love. Death breaks ties on earth, but they will be renewed in heaven. Heaven is a perfecting of the highest moments of your present Christian experience. --God
