A Letter to our students before Spring Break or anytime of the year... K- 12! We are never too old to hear from our teachers!! Dear Genius Class of Mine, I will not see you for the next 10 days and I wanted to share today how very grateful I am to each of you for the effort, the smiles, and yes, the arguments , the laughter , the little and bigger struggles, and especially the gifts each of you bring to this class every day! Although I dont get to tell you or share those thoughts and feelings I have as I drive home each night, I want you to know that when your chair is empty on the day you are absence.. I notice, I worry a little and I wonder if you will be back tomorrow! I know sometimes I cannot tell you or share with you how well you are doing, but I want you to know I notice!! I think this as I glance on you and watch you taking care care of business! Sometimes, I too am distracted and feel overwhelmed by all that we have to do in a day! I often wish I could sit beside you for a whole day and just hear all about your family, your friends, your happiest and saddest moments , your favorite places, your jokes and all that makes you excited to wake up in the morning or keeps you wanting to pull the covers over your head! Please know I have those moments too! Have a wonderful Spring Break and know that you may come to me or write me a letter anytime you wish! Your teacher and friend forever...
