A Lexus Project First While weve always said we represent the dog, not the owner, Sunday, the Lexus project had a first. A small to medium black and white dog named Ace showed up at our front door as we were leaving with our hounds so that our real estate broker could show our house. We had never seen this dog before but he had tags with his name and phone number. No one answered at the number on the tags. Ace was lost. Word around the neighborhood was that the Lexus project could help. So, Ace cut out the middle man and contacted us directly to help find his home. ;) We had our broker watch him while we drove around the neighborhood with our dogs and asked some people if they knew who Ace belonged to. We were lucky to find where his owners lived on our first try! We were pointed to their home where he had access to a doggy door but the gate was opened. Richard leashed him up after giving him some lovings and then Walked him home while I slowly cruised along with the dogs in the van. I do not think the people who looked at the house were interested, but there is one less lost dog out there! This is where padlocks come in handy. Your dogs cant get out and unexpected people cannot get in! Hope you all had a great weekend.
