A Life Without Power Yesterday, the power was off for several hours. In my house, not only does this mean that I can’t watch television or use my oven, it means that the toilets don’t even flush! Did you miss the power when it was off? I sure did! Do we miss God’s presence like we miss electricity? If our relationship with God is growing lukewarm or even cold, do we even realize it? We need to hunger and thirst for God. We need to seek after Him with our whole heart. When we don’t get a chance to be with other believers, we should miss that. There should be a longing in our heart for a growing relationship with God and with each other in the family of God. Psalm 42 says, “As the deer longs for streams of water, so I long for you, O God. I thirst for God, the living God. When can I go and stand before him?” (verses 1 and 2) Having lived my life with electricity, I can’t imagine my life without it. Having lived my life with God, I can’t imagine my life without Him. God bless you all today! :)
