A Life of Influence “This being so, I myself always strive to have a conscience without offense toward God and men.” Acts 24:16 How will your life influence others today? A clear conscience affects our influence on others. Is your conscience without offense toward God and others? Just because we do not always speak what is on our minds does not mean God is not aware of our thoughts. When there is unconfessed sin in our life, there will be feelings of guilt and a sense of distance from God. You can know that God is aware of everything we do, and nothing we have ever done will ever surprise Him or escape His notice. When we are in the presence of others what is coming off of our life? Do we influence others for Jesus Christ or for self? A writer said, “In every greeting we give to one another on the street, in every moment’s conversation, in every letter we write, in every contact with other lives, there is a subtle influence that goes from us that often reaches further and leaves a deeper impression than the things themselves that we are doing.” Are you free?
