A Little Bit About 2 of My 4 Living Grandchildren, and Their Parents. 2 1/2 minutes of video, demonstrating episodes of CROSSING ONE EYE ONLY. My youngest granddaughter Rylie, 12, in January, will be going to her first year of Intermediate School (grades 6/7/8). Her brother Reid is seen for a short period, is still in elementary, going to the 4th grade soon. She grooves to some of my favorite songs. I hope the sound comes through. Rylie wants to go to Notre Dame as an undergrad. Then to University of Chicagos Med school. My Dad grew up in Detroit until 9, then Chicago through HS grad. I know the city of Chicago, fairly well. Reid, wants to go to The University of Chicago as an undergrad & Law School. Their Mom has three (3) degrees. All from Sam Houston State University. She worked 40 hours a week for 3 1/2 years. Graduating Magna Cum Laude, with two separate simultaneous degrees in Criminal Justice & Psychology. I was encouragingly supportive. Unknown to me, she nearly got a third degree, English. She was one the three shift sergeants guarding Karla Faye Tucker, infamously executed double murderer. Karla had sincerely repented according to Christina. Christina cried, after taking all of Karlas possession, her Last Will & Testament, signing it as a witness. After nearly 15 years, Christina left The Texas Department of Criminal Justice. She had attended, Sam, part time while working full time for TDCJ, finishing her English undergrad, then getting her M.S. English degree. She never filed for her English BS. She now teaches at Willis HS. She was named teacher of the year a couple years ago. Teaching 3 different levels of 11th grade English. She leads the AP instruction, attending the National Convention representing her Region, recently. She has been teaching six years now. Rylie & Reids Dad, Rand, Christinas husband, also graduated from Sam Houston State University a year or so ahead of Christina. They met there. He has B.S. & M.S. Degrees in a Criminal Justice. He has worked full time as a Montgomery County Deputy Sheriff, since graduation, and teaches part time at the community college. He us running for Sheriff in the next election. If I was a Progressive Liberal Democrat, I would vote 20 times just as a Houston woman claimed she did for Obama in 2008. But I live in Harris County. So... To say I am proud, is a vast understatement.
