A Little French in Your Mouth! - Buttery Croissants There is nothing like a fresh, flaky and buttery croissant. Especially, one that has you making a mess when you bite into it. Thats the best test of a real, butter baked, made from scratch and none production line croissant! Sure, in a pinch the ones you get from the supermarket will do, but once youve gone to a real bakery or restaurant that makes them or had your own talented personal chef like me to make them for you, immediately you notice the difference. Nothing can replace a croissant thats been hand made with real butter and lots of time and love. These babies dont pop out of a can either. You dont get those hundreds of flaky layers from a frozen food isle. Although the recipe it self is not extremely complicated to make they do take loads of patience to make happen and a bit of finesse and technique. If you have these attributes the varieties are endless. I dont make them as often as I would like, but when I do its always a treat! I know some ladies that are going to love these this upcoming weekend for a Holiday Tea and they will be filled with a sweet walnut filling and topped with a delicious lemon glaze!
