A Little Help from Our Friends -- a Beatles Tribute Concert for a good cause. The Filament Theatre Ensemble is an incredible group of talented performers that bring the very best of the arts to my neighborhood of Six Corners/Portage Park in Chicago. I’m lucky enough to be a part of this fine organization (no not an actor, singer or musician) as a member of their Board of Directors. A wonderful number of performers came to help raise funds to support this unique group. Many Chicagoans came as well. The performers included: Ryan Westwood, Dan Aranda, BS Brass Band, Kathy Greenholdt, Paul Coady, Zydeco Voo Doo, Grooved Surface, Christian Libonati , Ella Raymont , Luke Heiden, Ralph Covert and Michael Hartigan. Our thanks to all! All you need to do is to come to one single performance…and you will be hooked! Friends, family and other supporters came together to help support the outstanding work of this not for profit professional theater group.
