A Love Initiative - Day 77 “Latest, Greatest Inspiration” Make it count! How important is choosing the right life partner? After all, if one doesn’t work out you can always try another... and another. Lot’s of fish in the sea, right? And when you’re fishing on the internet I guess it’s become pretty easy, if not common, to have several fish on the hook at the same time, huh? LOL! Years ago I learned in producing music that sometimes you have too many choices and it becomes difficult to choose just one - I call it “option anxiety.” It’s frustrating until you learn there are usually a limited number of criteria to consider to make a good choice so just pick one. Make a check list of likes and dislikes or pros and cons if you have to but find a way to narrow the field then choose. Sounds logical doesn’t it? Yeah, sure it does, but love is different isn’t it? Yep, I know! :-) We’re waiting for lightening to strike and the ground to rumble! We’re waiting for that perfect combination of visual and emotional stimulation... or was it the other way around? LOL! Emotional and visual stimulation. Look; we just want to be stimulated okay? LOL!!! Well, that’s not exactly a bad thing. We should be stimulated - mentally, emotionally, physically, spiritually and intellectually. We should be excited, challenged, motivated and inspired. Now we’re on to something. I think they call that a good catch. :-) If you’re looking for that perfect someone to “complete you” then go ahead and make that list of all the attributes and characteristics you’re looking for in a mate. Then when you’re done with the first list; make a second list of all the attributes you think are perfectly compatible with the first list then make sure that it describes YOU. If not; start again from the beginning until you’re lists are happy together. :-) Peace, love and happiness! G’nite! M
