A Love Letter To……Read on I love you seems an appropriate way to begin this dedication to you and just how wonderful you are. I have loved you since the day we met. Way back when before I truly understood the concept of love there was you and I and this unexplainable attraction. Yet in my youthful unknowing you continued to reveal yourself to me, patiently introducing me to the multiple dimensions of you. You offered yourself unconditionally, you helped me to grow. Always having my back, you became my voice in those times when I couldn’t formulate the words necessary to comfort a friend, ease my own pain or soothe an uncomfortable situation. You became that voice for me, always there, dependable and never at a loss for words, in ANY situation. As the years have passed I find it necessary to protect you from those who seek to use and abuse you. I want to restore any diminish to your value. I am devoted to you, faithfully yours despite the fact that you are so deep, so profound, that keeping you all to myself makes me a selfish jerk. Sharing you truly is the right thing to do. Still when we are together I am yours and you are all mine. And the fact that everyone, at some point wants to be with you seems miniscule when sharing our time together. I can’t blame your admirers, because simply put, you are dope. A drug that has me gone, an addiction that I don’t want to shake. My world, as well as the others that love you would be incomplete without you. So I thank you for being so damned fly and for giving me the opportunity to know and love you. Thank you for speaking to my spirit in the good times and the bad times and for completely embodying me with all that you are. You are truly invaluable and this is my dedication to you.
