A MAN OF GODS OWN HEARTSamuel Paul Dhinakaran Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what Gods will is--his good, pleasing and perfect will. (Romans 12:2) The Dhinakarans Dearly beloved, God loves a heart which completely surrenders and says, “Whatever you say Lord, no matter how I feel, I will do accordingly.” God said about David, “I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will” (Acts 13:22). The reason? “Anything You say, I will do Lord.” That was David’s heart. He was always ready to do what God told him to do. He was always in-line doing as God instructed him and this is the obedient and an accepting heart. When the Lord tells you, “this is what I want you to do,” do it sincerely.Don’t take God’s word lightly when He tells something about your friends at school/college or about a person who talks with you, earnestly pray for it and do it with all sincerity. If God asks you to pray, pray faithfully and if He asks you to study, earnestly study with faithfulness. We might think, “What good will it do to me if I study about the war of 1857? Why should I learn geometry? What am I going to do studying all of these? Am I going to use them in my life?” Let me tell you something. Unexpectedly, such things matter the most to us sometimes. So, sincerely do whatever God tells you to do because God does extraordinary things in the lives of His children in an exclusive way. You will be witnesses for the Lord through this by saying, “Yes, only the Lord has done this in my life” and thereby prepare the world for the Lord. Those who witness this will say, “The Lord had done this” (Ps 118:23). It was in this manner that the Lord Jesus transformed His twelve disciples (Acts 4:13). If you want the Lord to do great things in your life, You just have to ask, “Jesus, come into my heart”. He begins to speak to us when we are filled with the Holy Spirit. Read your Bible everyday to listen to the voice of God. All you have to do is read the Bible and pray. Then the Lord will do great things in your life. We find this in the Bible, Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is - his good, pleasing and perfect will.(Romans 12:2). Pray to the Lord, to receive a renewed heart of total submission to do the Lords will. Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, I Thank you and praise you Lord for all that you have done in my life. Lord renew my heart and change my desires to love you and submit myself to do your will, whatever it may cost. Strengthen me dear Lord and give me all that is required to do your will. In Your matchless name I pray, Amen. ----
