A MAN has been charged with robbery after staff at the Spar in Elstead were threatened with a screwdriver. Terry Michael Lunnon, 35, of Reading, was arrested following an incident at the supermarket in The Green, Elstead on Thursday May 8. He appeared at Guildford Magistrates Court on Saturday (May 10) and was remanded in custody to next appear at Guildford Crown Court on May 29. No-one was injured in the incident but it is understood a quantity of cash was taken shortly before Lunnon was arrested near the shop by PC Alex Regan.
