A MESSAGE FROM THE HIPPS ARTISTIC DIRECTOR LAUREN CALDWELL: For the first time in the 41 year history of the Hippodrome, we are proud to announce a Company of Actors for the 2014/15 season. Having a company of actors thrusts the Hippodrome into the same category as some of the most prestigious Regional Theatres in the country. What does it mean to be a Hipp Company Member? It means that in casting and in solid commitment, we begin with this core group of actors who have contributed to the artistic excellence of our storytelling. You may see a Company Member on stage one time a season, maybe twice, or even three times, and sometimes, not at all. Many elements factor into casting, including the availability of the actor. We will also continue to sprinkle our stage with new faces from all over the country. Please join me in honoring the first official Hipp Acting Company. I could not be more proud. This is a day I have dreamt of for years. And now... The HIPPODROME COMPANY!
