A MOMENT IN MEXICO .... Ten years ago I lived on Westmoreland Drive in Sarasota, drove a Rolls Royce, had a Mercedes and Jaguar in the garage and a yacht at the dock in my backyard. Then I got sick again .... Tonight I was holding a flashlight for a mechanic working on our little Pontiac Matiz (our beach buggy sand box) in front of a repair shop at 8:00 at night in the city of Progreso. Two guys worked laying on cardboard boxes on the street with only flashlights that were barely lit so I can get my car back tonight. The bill .... rebuilt alternator, belts and labor ... under $50.00 US. The total labor to rebuild the alternator and reinstall it was $15.00 US. Today I am healthier than I have been in years. I am happy. I live in an area that is safer than the county that I lived in Florida. The Mayan people here amaze me each and every day. Their strength, their work ethics, their kindness. I say it all the time and it comes from the heart. We all are exactly where we are supposed to be. I know I am .....
