A MOMENT OF SILENCE Before we end this tour tomorrow we must - TopicsExpress

A MOMENT OF SILENCE Before we end this tour tomorrow we must take a day to remember all the people that have lost their lives during the African enslavement in St. Croix. St. Croix inhabitants many of whom ancestors were enslaved and never received wealth, a thank you, or reparations for the set back, economic loss, or the pain and suffering of their ancestors. As they moved into the modern era where they had a limited voice there were corrupt people in government like former governor Paiewonsky and local leaders such as Earl B. Ottley and many more that on the record used their positions of power no doubt to help themselves to a better life outside and post public service years, only to the detriment of the majority. They have allegedly done things that they probably should have gone to jail for. NOTE: Tomorrow we will end the tour by discussing the deals and corruption of the past. This too is part of the history of St. Croix.
