A MOTIVATIONAL ACTION BY GANDU OLD STUDENTS ASSOCIATION. The Gandu Secondary School Old Students Association have today presented several gifts to the students of the school that academically distinguishes themselves. The gifts, ranging from textile materials, fans and sewing machines were presented to the best three performing students of the 2013/2014 academic session in each of the six set of classes in the school, i.e. JS 1,2,3 and SS 1,2 & 3. Present at the presentation were the first Principal of the school Mallam Abubakar Muhammad Gombe, the third and also the Principal that graduated the first set of students in the school Mallam Ibrahim Bawa Gwani, Chairman PTA of the school Alhaji Maigari Yuguda (Sarkin Dawaki); current Principal and other staff of the school. Many of the school old students also attended the occasion including Alh. Saleh Babayo (Chairman old students association), Haruna Adamu Maitaburma (Secretary old students association), Engr Isah Muhammed (Genaral Manager GSWB), Mallam Haruna Imam (students Imam), Manu Ali Bima; etc. The students were advised to always be hardworking and refrain from any activity that will tarnishes their image as young people and also that of the school. Lallai wadannan tsoffin dalibai sun cancanci yabo saboda wannan kokari na karin kaimi ga wadanda ke bayansu, da fatan sauran tsoffin dalibai dake makarantu daban daban zasu aikata fiye da haka don ganin an tallafawa kokarin gwamnati na saukaka ilimi ga kowa. ALLAH YA bamu karfin zuciyar taimakawa!
