A MR. DUDLEY UPDATE!!! (For those of you who are interested and/or have pets here is some info about Lymphoma. < aratana/media/1148/2155-lymphoma-white-paper-30may14.pdf >) Hello. First, we want to sincerely thank those angels who have been helping us through our GIVE FORWARD page or privately!!! We are so grateful! Mr. Dudley and I are both feeling good. After his T-Cell Lymphoma came out of remission just before Christmas, I kind of freaked... but with just one dose of a chemo drug that he has had before called CCNU, hes back in remission. We are going to give him another dose Sat., and continue to fund raise so he will have the option of having the cutting edge treatment called AT-005 by ARATANA sometime this Spring. The doctors are all amazed, telling us that he has already beat the odds... but with the kind of cancer he has, we have to stay on top of things... at the least tiny sign that he has an enlarged lymph node, we have to give him a dose of chemo... Hey, after beating the diagnosis of only 3 weeks to live 22 months ago... Mr. Dudley is doing GREAT!! He hasnt suffered or been in serious discomfort and he hasnt missed a meal... there are great lessons being learned here by his doctors!! You CAN thrive with cancer!! And, I know, some of you may think we are nuts... but life is short, and love comes in many forms... we are blessed... for us a little bundle of fur, 14 pounds of unconditional loyalty and love, and trust... Mr. Dudley enjoys every day and is most certainly not ready to check out~!! So we are making sure he has every opportunity to enjoy his days to the fullest. When hes ready... we will know.
