A MUST READ! Good morning great people! I am very concerned about todays generation. I hope that what I need to say is taken seriously and with a grateful heart. Everyday I work with a population of children and teenagers that have committed horrendous crimes. It is my responsibility to try to help undo what has been taught to them through parental modeling and for some from what they learn from people in the streets. Some of you parents out there are setting your kids up to be victims of children that have nothing. At some point in time you need to hold yourself as a parent accountable for the choices that you make because when times become hard and impossible, your children will not know what appropriate coping skills to use and will exhibit inappropriate behaviors when hearing the word NO!!! You are possibly setting up your childs demise based on your stupidity. I will pray for you. People start teaching your children what respect is, work ethics, education, honesty, and integrity. Michael Jordan is a name. A percentage of his shoes goes directly to an investment called the penitentiary. You are supporting the future of Youth America. Teach your children how to buy a house. Teach your children how to have good credit. Teach your children how to save their money for hard times. Take your children on vacations all over the world to learn about who they are and others. Teaching your children to brag about materialistic things is teaching ignorance. A day will come when life will challenge you... your entitled children will by any means necessary get what you once got. When your children curse you out... Thats your fault! You taught him! When he robs or steals from you... you taught that too! When he or she hurts someone else.... you guessed it! You partaked in that too! Have a great day people! Im done ranting.
