“A Memorable Experience!!” 5 of 5 starsReviewed 2 days ago NEW My husband and I celebrated our 25th Wedding Anniversary by spending 3 fabulous weeks touring Italy. Our final week was spent at the breathtaking property known as the Oasi Olimpia for a 6 day cooking program. Chef Carmen taught me so much about cooking and the difference the freshest of ingredients makes. I think she would be pleased to know how often my husband and I have recreated her dishes since weve returned home. Yes Carmen, Craig is still cooking right along side me!! She went above and beyond to make OUR special occasion magical and something we will always remember. She really spoiled us... and we recognize and appreciate her every effort. Tony and the rest of the staff worked so hard to ensure we were happy. I advise guests to listen to Carmens recommendations on what to do and what tourist traps to avoid- shes a local, she knows, and she doesnt want you to waste your money or your limited time. We were fortunate to stay in the penthouse suite which was amazing. I also suggest you consider travelling a little bit lighter so you can bring back several bottles of the delicious olive oil from this region- I have never tasted anything like it. The daily excursions to places like Pompeii, Isle of Capri, and Mount Vesuvius, to making cheese and drinking lemonchello... They have it all worked out for you and you just have to let it unfold.
