A Message from Wayne Baker, Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Odessa College Family: It is with real regret, and a very deep sense of loss, that I share with you that a member of the Odessa College Women’s Basketball Team was killed in an automobile accident this weekend. Terriah Cooper was a sophomore, pursuing an Associate of Arts Degree in General Studies, and a valuable member of the OC Wranglers Women’s Basketball Team. She had a warm, ready smile – which was often seen as she walked across the OC campus. There are no words to adequately describe the tragedy and loss of someone so young and filled with life. I ask now that you keep Terriah’s family as well as the team and coaching staff in your thoughts. We plan to meet with the team upon their return from the holiday to determine how they want to honor Terriah’s memory and contributions to the team. I will provide you all with the specifics and schedule once confirmed. The Lady Wranglers will return to action at the Sports Center on January 15th versus Howard College.
