A Mobile Handset Company is looking for Head of IT. Deadline:13th Octber, 2013 Major Responsibilities: • Develop IT Infrastructure of the company. • Implementation of technology within an organization and direct work of system / network engineers, business analysts, ERP developers, technical specialists, security team and computer-related users. • Monitor different level hardware (UPS, printer, scanner, router, switch),servers/ workstation & software, ERP System, disaster recovery, archiving, File backup and provide expert solution when necessary. • Design, implement and optimize system and network security to protect against unauthorized intrusion and to ensure a centralized antivirus and spam free IT environment (LAN, WAN). • Prepare budget for various IT upgrades and enhancements, schedule implementation strategies. • Identifying and evaluating opportunities for business-led technological innovation and development • Maintain security and privacy of the information systems, communication lines, and equipment. • Develop SLA with strategic outsource (SO) partners and ensure KPIs are being met. • Vendor management, including establishing and maintaining value-based supplier relationships which meet business requirements. • Develop and lead policy development as required. • Develop, review, and certify all back-up and disaster recovery procedures and plans. Requirements: • B.Sc/ M.Sc in Computer Science or EEE from a reputed university • At least 8 years working experience in IT Infrastructure environment and at least 4 years in developing IT infrastructure of the company and also leading a team. • Familiarity with Unix/Linux/Windows Servers(2003/2008), SOAP, SAS/RAIDXML/XSL, J2EE, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, PHP, C# and RDBMS such as Oracle 10g, SQL Server 2000+ and MySQL and reporting tools must be Crystal Report. • Practical experience of LINUX OS, latest networking techniques and web infrastructure. • Management competencies, especially budget planning & controlling • Excellent supervisory and interpersonal skills to lead a team • Applicant must have a serious passion for working with flexibility and adaptability in a continuously changing technological environment. • Excellent computer literacy and communication skill in English is a must.
