A Momentary Glimpse of “America, the Beautiful!” I find that the true grandeur of the Grand Canyon in Arizona can only be truly appreciated when a thunderstorm is “afoot in some part of the canyon as seen in this shot! It truly gives a unique perspective on the breath and depth of the canyon. For example, it was bright and sunny on one side of the canyon and raining and stormy in a totally different area, only to switched to a different section of the canyon within the subsequent 30 minutes! You’ll note the single cell rainstorm on the right, and what appears to be the gentle formation of one on the left in the distance! While standing there at one point, it began to hail, large ice pebbles! I started laughing, but only for a short while! Then, I was packing up and running to the car! LOL!!!! Enjoy!
