A Monday Mantra Moment: Chant Guru Guru Wahe Guru, Guru Ram Das Guru. When I hear this particular musical version of this mantra it brings back nostalgic feelings for me. I had gone to LA to visit The Golden Bridge Yoga studio and many of us were gathered that evening to hear Yogi Bhajan speak and as a warm up before he arrived there was a musician who came on and began to sing. I had never heard chant music sung live before and was in heaven. The song she was singing was this version of the mantra. I went onto attend my first Summer Solstice that year as well and once again at the early morning sadhanas we had live musicians. I can still see and feel the early morning sun peeking above the horizon, as Sada Sat Kaur sang this same version she wrote and sang earlier in the year at The Golden Bridge, Guru Guru Wahe Guru Guru Ram Das Guru.
