The journey to this musical started with a thought in 1983, then an initial action in 1986, then a sketch in 1988, then a collaboration with Marites Anino (composer) in 1990 and the slow process of manifestation over a long period until its launch on October 4, 2014 at the 500 Shaw Zentrum, Shaw Boulevard, Mandaluyong City.
