A Mussar Class is to begin on this coming Saturday, December 13th from 8:30 to 10:00AM in the Temple Solel Coffee House. Mussar, the study of holy traits, is a thousand year old practice designed to improve the quality of our soul, deepen and satisfy our spiritual life, and help each of us to explore a personalized moral path. The class will meet regularly on the second Shabbat morning of the month and will be a lay lead discussion. The text will be based on Everyday Holiness: The Jewish Spiritual Path of Mussar by Alan Morinis. The class curriculum can also be found on the internet by going to jewishpathways. There is no charge to sign up for the “Mussar Program”. The first meeting will be an introduction to Mussar and a discussion of the trait of “Humility”.
