A NEW YEARS MESSAGE: As we begin the to start a New Year, let us take time to reflect on what we have achieved in the past year. All personal best times have been shattered, lap times improved, car show wins, one National Class Record for 2014. To date we have 17 nine second cars from different teams and much more in the tens. Congratulations to all for moving a step ahead. You may not notice but think for a minute------------we are still using our old engine set ups and HP from the previous years, some just a refresh in the middle of the year, some needed to lower HP to achieve a better time! WHY? At the start of 2014 I decided to still do the same race car tuning and preparation procedures as we did the previous years but this time we focused on the most neglected part of the equation----the driver. With the help of technology all cars were tuned specifically for each driver and track conditions. Like I always say now that the car is done and dyno tuned its time to invest on the driver. That is what happened in 2014, It was not the dogbox, it was not the new rims, it was definitely not the HP it was the driver. Let us not forget the crew members, their dedication, those long nights, endless miles of towing and pressure on raceday---I would like to say THANKS. To all the drivers and race teams THANK YOU for your support, loyalty and trust we @ LDL SPEED SHOP are glad to be part of your race program. 2015 will be a busy year with drag racing & car shows to start in Feb, road racing in a few weeks, rally racing at the end of Jan. Rest assured that we will have time for everyone. There are some of you aspiring to get into the eight second club while others,, trying to improve their last years record and some going into a higher level of racing. If we set our objectives, add a little dedication and hard work then we can all achieve our goals. Have a safe and successful race year!
