A Nameless Love Love is truly everywhere And belongs to none, Elusive as a diamond rare It shines on everyone. There are moments it is seen Arriving in the guise Of beauty or some distant dream That even fools the wise. Some see it as their muse in life And hold it ever close To their hearts, the poet’s strife Is this golden rose. Love is jut a word to most, To others it is real, Perchance it comes when thought is lost In undiscovered fields. Unexpected is the way The ghost of love appears When asleep but most awake Within where dwell our fears. Some say its purpose is to tempt The soul to rise to bliss Upon the earth that man attempt Life’s highest peaks to kiss. Yet others say it is a grace No effort can acquire, The unexpected is its face, All life its deep desire.
