A New Viewing Point This post was shared with me and I must admit until this year it was my perception. Earlier this year I attended an African reconnection ceremony, at the African Village in Staunton, Virginia. While there... An African Priest-king (Igbo Eze), taught me the slave trade would save Africa...he said "the traders took only the young and strong" ensuring their survival from all that has ravaged Africa..."now that Africa needs them they are [awakening and] bringing their resources home to save the continent". The Ezi, understood the Ancestors knew this was the way. Reminded me of the proverb about "what was meant for evil worked for good". I had never thought of it this way...but, it is the wisdom of a wise Priest-King. It was my honor to have been given "A New Viewing Point".
