A Note from New Jersey On behalf of the Session and the congregation here at First Presbyterian Church, Matawan, NJ, I want to thank you all at Presbyterian Disaster Assistance for your generosity in granting us the $7,500.00 toward our PDA Volunteer Village Special Project. Our newly renovated bathrooms and the addition of the four showers is complete, and we are so grateful for your support financially, and in every other way. We are in the process of purchasing a refrigerator for our kitchen. We are now ready to accept more volunteer groups, and we look forward to once again hosting them as they help us rebuild here at the Jersey Shore. We are hopeful that volunteers will be eager to come to a site that is comfortable, and that includes on-site shower facilities that will be very convenient for them. Once again, thank you for encouraging and supporting us, and for meeting with us as partners in our efforts to help our neighbors rebuild their homes and lives after Hurricane Sandy.
