A Note on One of Our Playwrights: Chloe Whitehorn A graduate of Queen’s University’s theatre program, Chloë Whitehorn is a playwright, actor and underwater photographer. Chloe’s plays include “Love, Virtually” (Best of Fringe, Toronto 2011), “The Frank Diary of Anne”, “Clarissa on her Deathbed”, “The Deepest Trench” (Alumnae Theatre New Ideas 2013), “Divine Wrecks”, “Verona Heights”, “AEON: an evolution of sin”, Lei in Loves Shadow (Humber River Shakespeare Co), Wasting Time (Monkeyman Productions) and “The List”, and have played in San Francisco, London, Kingston, Selby, and Toronto. Her plays often examine taboo moralities, tragic love, and the licentious desires and imaginative reasoning of human beings. On stage Chloë often winds up running a kingdom (The Odyssey, Julius Caesar, The Balcony) or going insane (The Maids, Hamlet, The House of Yes, The Curious Savage). Chloes play Divine Wrecks has a staged reading Tuesday May 13th at 8pm and her current work-in-progress Dressing Amelia is being read Saturday May 17th at 2pm.
