A PERFECT EXAMPLE OF FREE ENTERPRISE doing its job. The NBA, in their capacity as a private (non-governmental) organization, exercised its power. If you dont like their decision, regarding the disciplinary actions taken against the owner of the Clippers, no one is forcing you to have anything to do with the NBA. The decision was ultimately made based on economics. The NBA brand and the Clippers brand would suffer, had these steps not been taken. This clearly demonstrates that the free market can make decisions that make sense, without the parental oversight of the government. This does not mean that regulation should be zero. It merely shows that grown ups can make decisions without Big Brother more than the governmental education system raised us to believe.
