A POSSIBLE HEADLINE THAT WE WILL SEE IN FOREIGN MEDIA IF MODI COMES TO POWER. INDIA NO LONGER A SECULAR NATION. IT HAS BECOME A DE-FACTO HINDU NATION. In recent elections, radical hindus were voted to power. These radical hindus include a bunch of like minded organizations. Among these the most prominent hindu organization is RSS, who has a political arm - BJP. Founders of RSS were admirers of Hitler and wanted a hindu nation since their inception. It seems finally they got it. A section on these hindus is accused of mass murders in India in 2002. They are also accused for the killing of Mahatma Gandhi. There are accusations that they have supported terrorist activities against minorities in India as well. Some of the prominent members of BJP believe that voting rights should be given only to people with Hindu ancestry. Until recently, the current PM of India was not given US visa because of these allegations as US believed there is lot of credible evidence against the current PM of India. So long the secular modern nation that was envisioned by founding fathers/mothers of India. P.S. – If nobody else does it, at least I will write articles highlighting this issue.
