(A POST BY OTHERS ) A MESSAGE FROM NORMA Due to the power situation I am unable to say goodbye personally *************************************** It is with deep regret and a very heavy heart that I am leaving Blanchetown Caravan Park on the 19th July due to illness. I came to the park approx 7-8 years ago as a semi permanent, whereby I fell in love with the place, then as a permanent for the last three years. It was here that I met two of the nicest and kindest people to ever enter my life...Joanne and Barry Kelly. They have given me endless support and helped me through some very personal events as well. They have seen me flooded out with the heavy rains, and seen my tears and devastation over other issues. No matter what they were always there to pick me up and I will miss them so much!! The endless gator rides with jo as we raked the park and emptied the leaves in the bins, the frantic cleaning of the cabins in the busy season, our morning cups of tea, Barrys nonstop tormenting of me and his great sense of humour gave me a laugh every day..all this will never be far from my mind!! However we will remain friends and I hope this nightmare will be over soon and they can go on to have the happy life they so deserve. Then..in the last couple of years working alongside the man I called Timbo .....we had endless laughs and loads of fun especially when we "bludged" and tried to avoid Barry or Jo but NO!! we were caught every time!! I hope he continues to go on as well as he is now. To Deb I will miss our in depth late night chats over a glass of wine or whatever was handy!! Ros, (sorry about the mags) Steve, (keep on chasing the bigger ones) Pat, John, Nicki, Damien, Kathryn and other friends and aquaintances I have made in that time, thank you for putting up with my good and bad days cleaning the "loos" without complaint (I think) lol. People have come and gone in my life but my time spent here at the park will be forever embedded in my memory. Good luck to everyone in the park, continue to enjoy your time in this beautiful place and I hope to see you in about 3 months depending on health. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Unlike · · 2 hours ago Blanchetown Caravan Park and 2 others like this. I have only been to Sydney airport so now I have a good excuse to come sight seeing and have some more good laughs with you. Thank you for your friendship and I know it will be a every lasting one. My hope wishes is that you continue to heal from your illness. So its not a good bye but to say we will catch up soon my friend. ~ TIMBO
