A POST FOR MY FACEBOOK FRIENDS--By Bill Shepherd To my Facebook Friends: I am a highly opinionated conservative middle-aged white man, and the older I get the more opinionated I get! As I watch our country being destroyed by liberal/progressive political agendas I voice these opinions on my own Facebook Page. Some find my posts upsetting, unsettling or even offensive. Please believe me when I say that if you dont like what I write you can go to my page and click unfriend or unfollow. The first option will disconnect us on FB completely and the second will prevent you from getting my posts on your newsfeed. I promise you it wont hurt my feelings. I will still like you in real life. (If I even know you in real life, as many of my fb friends I have never met). I also promise you I will not track down your Facebook and make posts on it. I only post on my own page. I promise I will not find your house and stand outside with poster boards with my opinions on them. I endure many posts that I find boring, egregious or silly. I have even been offended by some that are vulgar. I tend to scroll on by all those posts (except the vulgar ones, which I unfriend or unfollow) I like the diversity of opinions I find on fb regarding theology, politics, food recipes and even stupid pet tricks. So if you dont like what I write you have a mouse, and you have a finger, you can click unilaterally and send me into virtual oblivion, just the way Obama is doing with our constitution! Of course, truth be told... you will probably miss me after awhile :)
