A POWERFUL PRAYER IMMEDIATELY AFTER ADHAAN (CALL TO PRAYER) Sa’ad bin Abu Waqqas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (swalla-Allaahu alayhi wa-sallam) said, مَنْ قَالَ حِيْنَ يَسْمَعُ المُؤَذِّنَ : ((أشْهَدُ أنْ لاَ إلَه إِلاَّ اللهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ ، وَأنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ ، رَضِيتُ بِاللهِ رَبّاً ، وَبِمُحَمَّدٍ رَسُولاً ، وَبِالإسْلامِ دِيناً)) ، غُفِرَ لَهُ ذَنْبُهُ "He who says after the Adhan (call for prayer): [Ash-hadu an laa ilaaha illa-Allaah Wahdahu laa shareeka Lahu; wa anna Muhammadan `abduhu wa Rasooluhu, radheetu Billaahi Rabban, wa bi Muhammadin Rasoolan, wa bil Islaami Deenan] [Meaning: I testify that there is no true god worthy of worship except Allah Alone; He has no partners and that Muhammad (swalla-Allaahu alayhi wa-sallam) is His slave-servant and His Messenger; I am content with Allah as my true Lord, with Muhammad as my Messenger, and with Islam as my true religion], His sins will be forgiven.'
