A Paisley charity is celebrating a Burns’ Night with a difference ... by staging a red-hot firewalk. The daring stunt will see volunteers tip-toeing across glowing wooden embers up to 1,236 degrees Fahrenheit. And it is hoped Express readers will have a burning desire to take up the challenge on behalf of the Scottish Huntington’s Association. Burns’ Night is on January 25 and the firewalk will take place at the Glynhill Hotel, Renfrew, two days earlier. It will see supporters walk barefoot over 10ft of red-hot wood embers. This event is also an ideal opportunity to socialise with other families affected by Huntington’s disease. All you need to do is pay a sponsorship donation of £30 and commit to raising a further minimum sponsorship of £100.
