A Paws & Claws volunteer found this shell of a dog tied to a garbage dumpster with a cable cord. She had gotten tangled in the cable so that she couldn’t move and was lying in her own feces. To top that off, people had been simply dumping their garbage on top of her. Words hardly seem adequate to impart the horror of this situation. Our volunteer freed this poor creature and brought her home, but she urgently needs vet care. She is emaciated and missing hair and has obviously suffered extreme neglect. It will also increase our chances of finding a rescue group to take her if the funds are in place for her vaccines, spay and probable heartworm treatment. Let’s combat this glimpse into the depths of human depravity with some light and love. Please, help us offer this dog who was thrown away like garbage hope for new life!
