A Perfect Heart…. “For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him…” II Chronicles 16:9 KJV THOUGHT: You can read the rest of this verse as God was speaking to Israel here but I chose this first portion to go along with my thoughts of the week. I love the words written here in the ‘Chronicles’ or history books/journals of the Israelites. The eyes of the Lord RUN, get that word, RUN to and fro throughout the WHOLE earth to show HIMSELF to those who have a perfect heart towards Him. He isn’t looking for perfect people, HIS EYES ARE CONSTANTLY RUNNING back and forth looking…seeking…maybe LONGING to find those who are mature spiritually. To show Himself, or His love, His Power, His mercy to those who have grown up – spiritually. Wow! So much to think on here. EXTRA THOUGHT: A man does not need to be an angel to be a saint.
