A Poem by THOR GARY A Butterflys Trials; Life is too short to dwell in the house of pain, yearning for a chance to get the first time right. That time has passed you, with all your regrets and doubts . The person who we are, is not the same person we will one day be. You can only see the beauty of my wings, not the struggle of my cocoon No man or woman is immune from the disease of a broken heart. A butterflys wings once touched will never fly again, so they say. I say metal that has not been tested by the flame, is weak. Our trials in life will give us a chance to see how strong we can be. Never let someone cage your heart, consequently you will not fly free. You may ask- Whats wrong with your world? You will never know the pain a strong person endures, unless they let you in. Once you have been let in do not take it for granted. Stay humble till the end, that strong person will be there in the end. Weak minded mice grabbing crumbs of your light hiding behind paper walls of deceit. More excuses than grains of sand on a beach. I shoulda, coulda, woulda, good intentions lost in a black coal heart. Understand, you have been exposed in my camera lens. Floor boards creaking as you are sneaking up on shadows that cannot live in the light. Words of wisdom crumpled up to be thrown in the trash just like everything in your past! I will write the words to my own song, while you keep the beat to your own! Words are the ice of your lies that melt once you apply heat. Love, Friendship, and Loyalty are just ten dollar words on your five dollar account MLR THOR GARY 11/10/14 youtu.be/r2ecmOGt0NU
