A Police man came to me in Emergency and said that I should give him 4 days rest . I and Dr Sajid Sohail told him that he couldnt be given rest and then he started arguing with us . On that I said to him that only consultant can give rest to Govt employees . He still was unwilling to listen . On that I said to him : Can u register a criminal case on some one without asking the SHO or SP, likewise we cant give rest certificate without asking our consultant ? He got quiet on that as he understood the example well . Always give examples to patients which they understand during counselling them .
