A Portland, Oregon, nanny is facing multiple charges after police say she left a 3-year-old boy and a 2-month-old girl inside a minivan on a 90-degree day while she was working on her tan inside of a tanning salon, according to KOIN6. ...Portland Officer Rian Hamby arrived to discover a toddler and baby in a Dodge Caravan minivan sweating and screaming. According to the officer, all of the windows of the minivan were rolled up. The officer stated in his report that the boy was “soaked in sweat,” and that he could feel ”heat radiating from (the child) through his bullet proof vest.”
